I am installing Linux Mint to replace windows vista

Had an older system out in the garage doing nothing, so I figured I'd give linux a go on it. I decided since we are using Ubuntu in class I'd try out Mint at home. In the process of getting the .ISO and install now. If anyone has some pointers that would be great, this is my first Linux install outside of what we did in class. Found a random link for help and off their website so should go rather smoothly. http://www.zdnet.com/article/how-to-install-linux-mint-on-your-windows-pc/
