If you are sitting at the DC and need to login with a user that does not have administrative rights, you need to create a user and make them a member of a low level admin group like "print operators" --  The alternative is to change the security policy on the DC to allow local login for all users.


This logon right determines which users can interactively log on to this computer. By default the following group has permission:·        Account Operators·        Administrators·        Backup Operators·        Print Operators·        Server Operators.
