Weekly Post #7 Due March 5th

We have had some great posts.  Keep up the good work.  Also, try to summarize the article as well as you can along with a link to the original article.

Remote Desktop - Here are two articles on how to use different types of Remote Desktop in Linux.  This would be the GUI desktop rather than remoting in with SSH.

This article explains how to fix Linux problems, whether if its having random crashes, printer problems,or if you are unable to log in. Re-installing Windows can cause Linux problems because Windows has it's own boot loader, removing distros can also cause problems in Linux. This is a good article with lots of good solutions when having Linux difficulties. It explains why the problem possibly exists and how to solve these problems.

Looking for Linux tools that can recover lost data? You've come to the right place.

You've got five options, each have their strengths and weaknesses. Now you get to look like a hero when someone's hard drive crashes.

If you didn't know that DreamWorks primarily used Linux to make their movies, you aren't the only one. This article talks about how DreamWorks used Linux to make Shrek and overcome some obstacles using Linux Maya to make the 3-D animation and other Linux packages.
