https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/linux-systemd-affected-by-memory-corruption-vulnerabilities-no-patches-yet/  Security researchers have disclosed three vulnerabilities that affect a system service part of 'systemd,' a core component in Linux that manages system processes after the boot process. The bugs exist in 'journald' service, tasked with collecting and storing log data, and they can be exploited to obtain root privileges on the target machine or to leak information. No patches exist at the moment.

Here are some OS's that are based on Linux and some basic facts about them. Some of them are open source alternatives to Android's OS. It seems like they are making progress but some of them aren't the best to use yet.  https://itsfoss.com/open-source-alternatives-android/

This article goes over a way to make your Ubuntu desktop more secure with a simple firewall. Even though Ubuntu is somewhat safe already, any computer connected to the internet is insecure. It doesn't take very long at all only being about 3 steps. Although it doesn't 100 percent make Ubuntu secure, it does make your computer that much more secure. https://www.techrepublic.com/article/how-to-secure-your-ubuntu-18-04-desktop-installation-in-one-easy-step/

This article shows you five Linux commands that show you how busy your disk are. Each command shows different things that the disk is doing. like looking into the disk I/O, monitor the systems input/outputs and seeing all the activity that your disk is doing.
