You might have noticed that all of the applications in Ubuntu are basically in one location.  There is one built in "group" which includes a few applications under "utilities" - try creating another.  On a phone you can drag one icon onto another and it will create a place to hold both of them.  Not in Ubuntu.... see if you can figure out how to do it.
