Screensaver in Linux

One of the cool things about Linux used to be the screensavers.  There was one that looked like the Matrix in particular.  Now, Ubuntu opts for just a blank screen which will trigger monitors to go into sleep mode.  This is to save electricity.  If you want to add a screen saver you can still install one and configure it.
