A malware was created to trick Windows users in to thinking they had somehow contracted a virus. Essentially a blue screen appears which prompts users to a PayPal link asking them for $25 in order to solve the problem. This malware was discovered by Pieter Arntz from Malwarebytes. The article describes this as a “new nasty scam”.
