https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/03/05/wordpress_is_now_30_per_cent_of_the_web/

Wordpress is now run on 30 percent of the web, however, not all websites run a content management system like Wordpress, so in truth, Wordpress is run on 60% of websites that actually do have a CMS. Despite next to no public advertising, Wordpress is chosen by the majority of business customers for ease of use. Wordpress recommends the use of Apache servers with its system, linking the CMS to Linux boxes at the hip, and since Apache is heavily used in business, so is Wordpress.

Step 1: Discover that EA's Origin system allows you to download an unencrypted version of all the game files
Step 2: Strip out the DRM, obviously.
Step 3: Use the Demo Launcher that Square Enix was so thoughtful to provide to run a full version of the game four days before its official release
Step 4: Laugh at EA, as if you weren't already.

Google continues to love all over Linux, as they're now adding support for 'containerized' apps in Linux for Chromebooks. Essentially it allows Linux VMs to run on Chromebooks if a certain policy is set to true or unset on the Chromebook.

Seems like every year or so they try to make a new "for beginners!" distro of Linux. I remember Mint and Red Hat being touted as the 'for dummies' versions. Maybe this one will actually be a version of Linux you could give to grandma and be perfectly fine with.

Linux must go on everything. This isn't quite as silly as the time people put Android on a washing machine (yes that happened), but here we are. Linux on your Switch!

Since we discussed Linux servers in class today:

https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/build-linux-web-server-computer-part-1/

While it discusses Ubuntu, I have a feeling that some of these lessons will apply regardless of distro.
