Web Server - Spring 2019 - First Post - IIS Install
Your first assignment is simply to partition the hard drive on the server and install 2 copies of Server 2016.
You do NOT need to make the server for the 9:00AM class a DC.
Install the IIS role. Test by typing in your loopback or localhost. You should see the default page.
1. Where is the default starting page located?
2. What is the name of the default starting page in IIS?
3. What are the standard permissions on the folders that contain the default starting page?
*Note - do not change the default permissions.
4. Can other people in class see your default page? They will just need to type in your IP address.
