Moses Lake School District was infected with ransomware encrypting the districts servers and backups on July 22nd. The IP address of the attack originated in Moscow, Russia. It started with a staff member clicking on a email attachment. They didn't want to pay to pay the ransom, and were forced to start rebuilding everything.
