Project #2 - WDS and Hyper-V

Windows Deployment Services allows you to do "over the network" installations and also over the network deployment of a custom image.  The installation over the network isn't really any different than booting off an install disk or usb.  Basically, the installation file is put into a shared folder that the client computer accesses. The real benefit to WDS is creating a custom image with all software pre-installed (like MS Office for example).  Hyper-V has the option of creating a new Virtual Machine, but not installing the OS immediately.  You can boot Hyper-V as a PXE boot as well.  The PXE boot allows the computer to boot up, get an address and "see" the WDS server without having an OS on the client system to begin with.
