IIS (web server) for Windows 10

You can install IIS into Windows 10.  Turn it into a basic web server.  There are other options too.  Apache for Windows, Abyss Web server.  You can only run one at a time realistically since incoming requests are on port :80 by default for HTTP and port 443 for HTTPS.  If you install IIS for Windows 10 notice that it has a different starting page.  it is called iistart.htm  you can also use default.htm and index.htm.  They are all listed under the IIS manager under default documents.

How to create a new website in IIS - you may find other sites to be helpful too.  This one is from Microsoft and is fairly basic.
