GPT vs. MBR - Installing Windows on newer computers that use UEFI

It is inevitable.  As hard drives get bigger and bigger we will have to switch from the old MBR style partitions (where you only get 4 per hard drive) to the newer GPT style partitions.  GPT is also required when using drives larger than 4TB in size.  We have been using legacy boot mode on the UEFI BIOS in class.  This article is pretty good:

Re: GPT vs. MBR - Installing Windows on newer computers that use UEFI

I would like to try re-formatting one computer in class as GPT - we will have to switch the UEFI BIOS back to UEFI mode first and follow the instructions to format as GPT.  This should allow 4 partitions PLUS the system reserved partition.  This might help with our weird boot loader issues.
