GPT vs. MBR - Installing Windows on newer computers that use UEFI

It is inevitable.  As hard drives get bigger and bigger we will have to switch from the old MBR style partitions (where you only get 4 per hard drive) to the newer GPT style partitions.  GPT is also required when using drives larger than 4TB in size.  We have been using legacy boot mode on the UEFI BIOS in class.  This article is pretty good:

If you are the ONLY one that sits at your computer I would like to try formatting as GPT and creating 4 partitions, - this will also allow creating a 5th system partition that should help with the boot loader scenario.
