Mexico empieza a usar Linux para las computadoras escolares del pais. La razon por la cual se escojio dicho programa es para minimizar el precio de instalamiento.

Puerto Rico tambien usa Linux. Linux se usa en una escuela en Bayamón, la universidad de Puerto Rico.

Before people post *every* country that uses Linux, here is a Wikipedia article that goes over all the countries that have adopted Linux.  Mostly for financial reasons.

not sure if this was posted before but a company is offering mucho mulla for people to quietly report vulnerabilities in the new linux security protocol. information gained will be used to better help protect the users
