https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/03/05/wordpress_is_now_30_per_cent_of_the_web/

Wordpress is now run on 30 percent of the web, however, not all websites run a content management system like Wordpress, so in truth, Wordpress is run on 60% of websites that actually do have a CMS. Despite next to no public advertising, Wordpress is chosen by the majority of business customers for ease of use. Wordpress recommends the use of Apache servers with its system, linking the CMS to Linux boxes at the hip, and since Apache is heavily used in business, so is Wordpress.

Microsoft has added Kali Linux to their windows 10 store.
The article above has directions on how to run Kali Linux on Windows Subsystem for linux.

Just some more in depth commands you can use for Linux.  Unlike the basics, these include securing your system and finding errors.  More for the advanced.

Android 8.1 Oreo is currently the most stable version of the Linux-based Android mobile OS, bringing several enhancements and new features like a slightly transparent Quick Settings menu, light and dark themes that turn on automatically based on home screen's wallpaper, a Google Search bar under the dock, and a new "At a Glance" widget on top of the Calendar and Weather info.

Re: Weekly Post #8 Due March 12th

Well, its getting closer to the end of quarter so I thought I'd post something light and funny while sticking to the topic.

A woman quits college and Ubuntu was to blame. Due to the lack of productivity with her Verizon High-Speed Internet CD and Microsoft Word not downloading in Ubuntu, she was unable to do her work, hence the reason why she had to quit.

This sure beats the ole "my dog ate my homework," trick.

This is just an article on how to delete directories. It's nothing too fancy, but it really helped me out because for some reason I moved my Desktop folder to /var/www/html and after moving the files back I couldn't get rid of the Desktop folder that was still there. This solved it.

Think about it.... Robots won't take over the World.... LINUX will!

Rob posted about Android.  There is a version of Android you can run on a PC.  Make a bootable USB and run Remix
