How to configure Wake On Lan

Wake on Lan requires a setting on your ethernet card.  The computer has to be plugged in and "asleep" -  when a signal is sent out on the network the computer will wake up.  This is especially useful for waking up all the computers on the weekend to install an update.  You will need the MAC address of the computer you want to wake up.  Use ipconfig /all or scan the network for MAC addresses using a scanning app.  Advanced IP Scanner will show MAC addresses.
