This works.  I had this setup on my Windows 10 Hyper-V host and shared files to the Server that was running in Hyper-V.  This is useful if you download a file on the host and you need to use it in Hyper-V.  You can also enable file sharing and share between host and client, but this is easier.  Just drag and drop.
