10 Best Linux Terminal Emulators [2020 Edition]
The article I found lists the top Linux Terminal Emulators being used today. The different terminal emulators listed are pretty much preference based, although some of them offer different tools/functionality than the others. Keep in mind that these terminal emulators must be ran on a linux type OS. The article posts terminal commands to install each of the listed terminal emulators.

Devin had a great question about Dirext X and Linux. WINE will allow you to play Windows games, even the ones that use Direct X, but I'm not sure how much the performance suffers. The is is a discussion of Direct X in Linux on a discussion board. (Discussion board is most likely run on Linux!)

It was recently announced that Canonical has partnered with Bosch Rexroth to use Ubuntu Core in their app-based Ctrl-X Automation platform. Ubuntu Core is designed for embedded environments and IoT devices. According to Canonical, industrial machine manufacturers that make the switch can be "freed from being tied to PLC specialists and proprietary systems with the software being decoupled from the hardware." This means that large scale manufacturing can begin to use cheaper, or even free open-source based control software for their automated systems rather than being locked into expensive proprietary software with limited support and no upgrade path for future development. Ctrl-X Automation uses Linux snaps (application containers) to operate in total isolation, and can be developed in C, C++, Python, Javascript or Go. This will help industrial operators to move away from the more dominant and specialized languages like IEC 61131 and G-Code.
