Democratize is how the author of the article describes the Linux Foundation’s new AI technological advances. Acumos is the name of this new open source platform. With the intention to provide smooth data and functionality to many operating systems. As mentioned in the article some of the organizations that would have interest in AI are "autonomous vehicles, drones, content curation and analytics, and much more", stated by Jim Zemlin, executive director at the Linux Foundation. AT&T and Tech Mahindra have also been driving forces in the development of this new platform conformity. If you visit the Acumos website, in the description it states that the “Acumos Project establishes its governance model”, which sync on the author’s description.
