Hackers can destroy steal or change any information you have in your PC or internet by hijacking your usernames and passwords, steal your money and opening up a credit card and bank account in your name, ruin your credit, request a new account personal ID number (PIN), make purchases, obtain cash advances or use and abuse your social security number. They do this by phishing, using spam emails, using instant messages and more. 
 
     There are ways to protect yourself. Keeping your personal and financial information out of conversations online, use caution when using the chat rooms, monitor online friends to see if that have predatory traits.
