Microsoft appears to be focusing on Windows 10 and patching security bugs for that system silently and quickly; but the rolling out of the same updates to Win 7 and Win 8, is lagging and is usually only included in their monthly updates.

There is a fear that hackers will find out (wow, this is a published article, so I'm sure the hackers now know) that those Win 7 and Win 8 computers have the same vulnerabilities and they can exploit the bugs to infect those systems that still exist in millions of homes and businesses.
